About Joe and Eric Metzler, Senior Loan Officers
Cambria Mortgage, the Joe Metzler Team has been making home buying dreams come true for nearly 30 years. Like many of the people that we help find financial security through their homes, we too are grateful to every one of our borrowers who have allowed us to grow our lending potential over the last two decades. Through providing financial support and services to satisfied homebuyers, Addendum has funded over $4 billion in home loans.
Joe started his mortgage career with a small mortgage broker in the 1990’s. It quickly became apparent that a small broker simply couldn’t offer the product or service his customers deserved and demanded. Not having any control over a loan once a broker sends it to the real lender, just wasn’t working.
Joe then moved onto a local correspondent lender, where he had a much bigger set of loan options, but more importantly, they took the application, processed the loan, did all their own underwriting, and funded their own loans.
In the early 2000’s, Joe’s business had grow to the point of needing a full time assistant. Knowing he needed the best, Joe had to look no further than his own home, hiring his oldest son Eric. Being a quick learner, Eric got licensed himself as a Loan Officer.
This worked well for over 20-years. Joe and Eric closed thousands of loans, and won multiple local and national awards, including the 2014 State of Minnesota Loan Officer of the Year, and multiple “Top Producer” awards.
Eventually, the winds of change blew through, and in 2019, it was time for Joe and Eric to find a new home again. Having searched high and low for the best all around lender, they finally selected local Minnesota based Cambria Mortgage.

Yes, all Cambria Mortgage Loan Officers are licensed. This is important to understand, as not all loan officers are. In fact, around a whopping 70% are simply registered, and more like just an application clerk, versus a professional Loan Officer.
2. What states do you lend in?
Cambria Mortgage is based out of Eden Prairie, MN, and is licensed to provided home mortgage purchase and refinance loans in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Florida, and Texas
3. What programs do you offer?
Cambria Mortgage offers all your typical home mortgage loans, including standard 30-year fixed, FHA loans, VA loans for our military, USDA rural housing loans.

5. Do you offer down payment assistance?
Yes, we work with many different programs that offer first time home buyers down payment and closing cost assistance. Of course not everyone will qualify for assistance, as most programs have income and credit score limits
